Our story

Grupo Sisttemex Founded in 1998. We are pioneers in Mexico and North America in the design, manufacture, and erection of telecommunication towers; we quickly positioned ourselves as market leaders, becoming the supplier of the leading cellular telephone operators.

In 2002, we started manufacturing towers and structures for power transmission and substations.

In 2005, as part of our expansion strategy, we also entered the building market, participating in large-scale works.

In 2006, our hot-dip galvanizing plant started operating. The most modern and efficient in Latin America. With a production capacity of more than 80,000 tons per year.

In 2017 we decided to join clean and renewable energy evolution with projects such as farms and solar lighting.

1989

We began by selling telecommunication towers of American origin in Mexico, mainly for MW. At that time, Fiber Optics did not exist yet, and Long Distance transmission was carried out mainly by this means.

1993

Our engineering group is integrated, and we begin the design and manufacture of Towers in Mexico (RF, MW, TV, Radio, and meteorological), incorporating construction and erection services.

1998

Sisttemex was born as the company we know now, and our brand is registered.

Certifications

The Division of Power Transmission Towers and Substation Structures is created.

2003

Our plant begins operations in the Balvanera Industrial Park, Querétaro, providing the highest technology, machinery, and equipment.

2006

Our Hot Dip Galvanizing plant comes into operation. The equipment and technology make us the largest and most modern plant in Latin America.

2009

Continuing with the process of Diversification of Products, Services, and Clients, the Metallic Structures Division is created to support our country's Infrastructure, Industrial and Commercial Sectors.

2014

The expansion of our facilities in Querétaro continues, reaching 10 hectares of surface.

2017

The construction of the First Stage of our Administrative and Engineering Center is concluded, with 3,000 m2 of work area and the most modern technology.

2018

We continue to grow, and new facilities are incorporated in coatings, highlighting blast chambers, painting, and special coatings.

2020

Sisttemex joins the global effort to increase the use of alternative energies, providing solutions to protect the environment and our society, giving rise to our Renewable Energy Division, at that time focused on solar lighting and being about to incorporate new products and services.

2021

We consolidate our different Business Divisions to become Grupo Sisttemex, whose objective is to support Building a better future together.

Factory

Our manufacturing plant is in Querétaro, Mexico, and occupies more than 37 acres. Our installed capacity is 48,000 tons of manufacturing and 80,000 tons of galvanized production per year.
